The most nervous player on the team has to take the last penalty of the final.
The neighborhood pitch
Local kids fix up an abandoned field so they can play.
The magic ball
An old ball makes whoever kicks it play like their idol, but only for one game.
Sample script: The last penalty
- 1The school tournament final. The score: tied. Everything comes down to penalties.
- 2It's the most nervous player's turn. His knees shake. GULP!
- 3Big panel: he runs up with speed lines behind him.
- 4He kicks as hard as he can. POW!
- 5The ball hits the post… and goes in. GOOOAL!
- 6The whole team lifts him onto their shoulders.
Tips
- Speed lines behind the ball and the player show velocity.
- A close-up of the face before the shot builds tension.
- The final celebration looks best in a wide panel with the whole team.
