Comic, Manga and Webcomic Contest - October 2026
We recognize your talent, consistency and the real impact of your stories. Join this month's contest!
What is a comic, manga or webcomic contest?
A comic contest is an open call created to discover, promote and reward works of visual storytelling. Depending on the rules, creators of traditional comics, manga, webcomics or graphic novels can take part.
In many cases judges evaluate things like the artwork, the storytelling and the originality. At Histo, however, we believe a work's success is also measured by the connection it creates with readers, so we include real reading, engagement and consistency metrics.

Why is our webcomic contest different?
Most comic contests only reward a jury's assessment. At Histo we bet on a model that also takes into account the real behavior of readers.
After analyzing hundreds of releases on the platform, we've seen that works that spark conversations, build loyal readers and publish consistently tend to offer a stronger experience for the community.
That's why our awards recognize three different things: the best new work, the readers each author brings and creative consistency. Nobody wins the same category two months in a row.
