Zombies at school
Every student shows up walking like a zombie: it's Monday and nobody slept.
The altar
On the Day of the Dead, grandpa comes back to taste the bread on the altar.
Sample script: The perfect costume
- 1Halloween night. A group of costumed kids goes trick-or-treating.
- 2A kid in an amazing monster costume joins the group.
- 3“Great costume! Where did you get it?” they ask.
- 4The kid doesn't answer. He just smiles with a lot of teeth.
- 5They reach a bright house. Everyone takes off their masks for a photo.
- 6Final panel: the monster kid takes nothing off. It was his real face!
Tips
- Shadows and black backgrounds do half the work.
- Save the reveal for the last panel and make it bigger.
- Humor and horror go well together: a scare with a funny ending.

Show a normal place, introduce something strange little by little and save the reveal for the last panel. Four to six panels are enough.
