Animal comics
Animals are the easiest characters for a short comic: they need no explanation and each has its own personality. Here are ideas and a 4 panel script.

Cats and dogs
A dog and a cat compete for the couch spot closest to the window.
The hurried turtle
A turtle wants to get to a party that starts in five minutes.
The fish who wanted to see the world
A fish in a bowl convinces the cat to take him for a walk.
Sample script: The couch
- 1A cat sleeps happily on the couch, in a sunbeam.
- 2The dog arrives, looks at it and jumps onto the couch. FLOP!
- 3They glare at each other, each in a corner. GRRR!
- 4The kid of the house sits in the middle. Both snuggle up to him.
Tips
- Give each animal one exaggerated trait: the proud cat, the clumsy dog.
- Animals can talk in bubbles or only use sound effects (WOOF!, MEOW!).
- Ears and tails express emotion: use them instead of the face.
