Sample script: The traveling bottle
- 1Someone throws a plastic bottle on the street. CLUNK!
- 2The rain carries the bottle down the storm drain.
- 3Big panel: the bottle reaches the river, surrounded by trash and sad fish.
- 4The bottle reaches the sea; a turtle mistakes it for food.
- 5A girl on the beach picks up the bottle before the turtle can eat it.
- 6She drops it in a recycling bin: the bottle smiles.
Tips
- Giving an object (a bottle, a tree) a voice or a face makes the story easier to follow.
- Show the before and after so the change is visible.
- End with an action the reader can take in real life.
